[bg_collapse view=”button-green” color=”#ffffff” icon=”arrow” expand_text=”See Answer” collapse_text=”Hide Answer” ]
There are several ways to support SBC.
Every time you find and support an organization on our online directory, you’re helping to increase charitable giving and online visibility of B3 organizations across the world.
You’re helping Support Black Charities to continue giving organizations listed on our directory the increased visibility they seek and deserve. You’d be directly contributing to our mission.
You can also directly help Support Black Charities by making a financial contribution on our Donate page here which goes towards our administrative and operation costs allowing us to dedicate more resources to continue our philanthropic advocacy efforts on behalf of the organizations in the Black community.

[bg_collapse view=”button-green” color=”#ffffff” icon=”arrow” expand_text=”See Answer” collapse_text=”Hide Answer” ]
No. The word “charities” is defined differently in several parts of the world. Generally, we are looking to add any eligible organizations including charities, non-profits, grassroots, community based or NGOs that meet the minimum requirements to Get Listed, Featured or Promoted.

10 – What if my organization is not Black -led, can it still be added to your directory?
[bg_collapse view=”button-green” color=”#ffffff” icon=”arrow” expand_text=”See Answer” collapse_text=”Hide Answer” ]
One of our main requirements is that Board members, Executive officers and staff must be at least 50% BIPoC (Black Indigenous People of Color).
***We want to add that in our experience, we find that organizations led by a majority Black leadership team have a clearer understanding and can better identify specific issues or challenges pertinent to the Black community. If you are an organization with a majority non-Black leadership and are serving the Black Community, we are inviting you to consider including more Black qualified individuals to your team. Please contact us for resources.
