Established by the U.S. Congress in 2006 and formally proclaimed by President George W. Bush, this month recognizes the enduring contributions of Caribbean Americans to every aspect of society, arts, politics, science, business, and activism.

 But one truth remains: the Caribbean story is not just colorful, it’s powerful, global, and deeply rooted in liberation, creativity, and resistance. ✊🏾🌊

🔹 Caribbean countries were among the first to abolish slavery, igniting global abolitionist movements.
