Black Philanthropy Month – August – is Here? Do you know what you’re doing yet?
Black Philanthropy Month has been gaining momentum and popularity in the US over the last 10 years and in Canada and Africa in the last 3 years. As an organization, SupportBlackCharities.org (SBC) is an ambassador of the movement and they are working hard to make it a global event. Same for Black Giving Day on August 28th.
These days, Anick and SBC are busy preparing and raising awareness for Black Philanthropy Month (August) and Black Giving Day (August 28th) in Canada hoping that it grows to become an annual event that the entire Black community celebrates and participates in to make a difference.
