Director - Cindy Ofunne

Cindy Ofunne is a transformative force whose work bridges innovation, education, and cross-cultural impact globally. With over 14 years of experience across healthcare, telecommunications, IT, aviation, and education, she has built a legacy of strategic leadership and community advancement.

As Director of PEC PM Experts Inc., Cindy has driven project management excellence across sectors and geographies. Under her leadership, PEC PM Experts became a catalyst for the project management career ecosystem in the Kitchener-Waterloo region—connecting recruiters, industry leaders, and professionals through the PM EXPO initiative launched in 2024. She founded STEMPorte, a global ed-tech venture promoting STEAM education.

Cindy served for three years as a part-time Associate Professor at Conestoga College’s School of Business, sharing her extensive industry knowledge with emerging professionals. She currently serves on several boards including Rising Oaks Learning Ontario, Support Black Charities, NIROW and the Cambridge Federal Liberals Association. She contributes to local philanthropy through her work on the Community Grants Committee for the Waterloo Region Community Foundation.

Cindy holds a BSc in Computer Science, an MBA in Finance, a postgraduate in Project Management and is pursuing a Doctorate degree in Business Administration. She is credentialed in PMP, ITIL, Scrum, Montessori Early Years Education, and recently earned a Strategic Thinking for CXOs certificate from Cambridge Judge Business School. She is a member of Forbes Black, PMI and WXN Canada.

She co-authored the book “Mastering ERP Projects: winning strategies from the experts” - a practical guide for all organisations struggling or embarking on digital modernization initiatives.

Passionate about community empowerment and transformation, Cindy continues to inspire through advocacy, mentorship, and a commitment to building resilient, inclusive futures.
